Saint Jean Cap Ferrat

Saint Jean Cap Ferrat is located at about 10km from Nice and Monaco, and offers its visitors the charm of a delightful and well-preserved area on 282 hectares of peninsula. It is a real oasis on the Côte d’Azur and offers more than 300 days of sunshine per year. The region is dotted with numerous beaches and paths by the seaside, which provide delightful walks while passing the many luxurious villas and magnificent gardens.  The area has also a rich cultural and historical past and all these reflect in the various places that are worth a visit like the Saint Hospice Chapel, the Ephrussi de Rothschild villa-museum and the numerous ‘’Belle Époque’’ villas.

On the St Jean Cap Ferrat peninsula, Béatrice Ephrussi de Rotchild built an Italian Renaissance villa. Today it’s a very romantic place with its french gardens and a collection of art.  La Villa Ephrussi de Rotchild should absolutely be visited when the weather is nice!!!!! If you take the beach path, known as Promenade Maurice Rouvier, you’ll admire the villa that belonged to a famous actor David Niven.

The French Riviera is a privileged region with a mild climate and many other treasures.  Nice and its Mont Boron hill, Villefranche sur Mer, Beaulieu sur Mer, and Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, are the evidence of that.
