Apartments Nice Mont Boron
The Mont Boron is a hill that stands east of Nice, bordering Villefranche-sur-mer common land. This wooded hill covered with typical Mediterranean vegetation is a favourite among the strollers thanks to its well-maintained small paths. That very peaceful area (very few cars run there) cannot legally be built on; however it is still possible to find flats for sale in it. Small two or three-storey buildings propose one to five-bedroom apartments with balconies and terraces and high quality equipment (on the Plateau du Mont Boron for instance). Also, some mansions have been split into lots and offer flats that benefit from a beautiful garden filled with trees and even sometimes a common swimming pool.
In the boulevard Maeterlinck area
Going further down, close to the Maeterlinck crossroads, you may also find apartments in high-class residences. The ground-floor apartments have a large garden filled with trees and the above floors flats enjoy a stunning unrestricted view over the sea from balconies and terraces. Between the Route Forestière and the Basse Corniche, some manor houses, even small palaces, have been turned into different size flats. Those very small co-owned real estates (two to six apartments) propose exclusive high standard properties that can’t be missed as soon as they are put on the market. The area is highly regarded for its peaceful towering over location.
Along the boulevard du Mont Boron
The road winds up the hill from the Riquier area to the Maeterlinck crossroads. Along the way, several buildings were built in the 70s and often some of their apartments are put on the market. Whether one or two-bedroom or larger, the apartments have south facing balconies and terraces to enjoy the advantage of an open view on the Baie des Anges, the Colline du Château and the port of Nice. One of those real estate assets is that they offer one or more parking spaces, an utter luxury in that part of the town.
Going up along the boulevard Carnot
When you leave the port to slope up the Cap de Nice you will reach the boulevard Carnot. Between private villas you will discover splendid buildings that propose high-class apartments with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, beautiful gardens and sometimes a private lift if the apartment is on two or more levels. Thanks to their location below the boulevard, those flats benefit from total peace and, for most, from an unrestricted view on the Mediterranean Sea, so much so that they seem to have been built suspended right above the sea. You may even try to find one in the Château de l’Anglais, an extravaganza conceived in the mid 19th century.
