"LA COURSE AU SOLEIL" RETURNS TO NICE FROM MARCH 9 TO 16, 2025 FOR ITS 83RD EDITION
From March 9 to 16, 2025, the 83rd edition of the PARIS-NICE, also known as the “Race to the Sun”, takes place. And as usual, the grand finale will take place on the legendary Promenade des Anglais in Nice.
On March 15 and 16, traffic is likely to be disrupted in Nice.
This race brings together the best cyclists in the world, and is likely to attract large numbers of spectators.
After a week of fierce racing, the peloton will set off for the last two decisive stages of this event, and not the least:
- Nice to Auron on March 15 for a distance of 147.8 km and plenty of climbing.
- And a final event on March 16 in the town of Nice, covering a distance of 119.9 km. A final that promises to be explosive.
To get a feel for the feats achieved by the riders during this event, you can take part in the Paris-Nice Challenge, which offers you the chance to ride part of the official route over 131 km and 2,370 metres of ascent. The more adventurous can even climb as far as the Col de la Madone de Gorbio for a challenge totalling 148 kilometers and 2,930 metres of ascent.
