THREE COLLABORATORS TAKE UP THE CHALLENGE OF IRONMAN NICE FOR VICTORIA
Three Team Members Take on the Ironman Nice Challenge for the Association Ensemble pour Victoria
This June will be marked by an exceptional event for the entire Agence Lafage Transactions group. Three of our team members will take part in the Ironman Nice on June 28 in support of the association Ensemble pour Victoria, a cause that has been particularly close to our hearts for several years.
Behind this extraordinary sporting challenge lies, above all, a human adventure driven by courage, solidarity, and self-transcendence.
This year, our colleague Maxime Casado is taking on the ultimate challenge: the Full Ironman. A true test of both body and mind, as impressive as it is inspiring.
This legendary competition is considered one of the most demanding endurance events in the world:
- 3.8 km of open-water swimming,
- 180 km of cycling through the hills surrounding Nice,
- followed by a full marathon of 42.195 km.
Distances that are truly staggering and require months of intensive preparation, unwavering discipline, and absolute determination.
But those who know Maxime already know that his mental strength is beyond question. As determined in life as he is in his work, he embodies values of perseverance, discipline, and commitment every single day. For many months, he has followed an extremely demanding training program to be ready for race day. Between early morning sessions, long cycling rides, countless running kilometers, and swimming workouts, he has pushed his limits with remarkable strength and dedication.
Alongside him, Aurélien and Samuel will be competing in the Ironman 70.3, also known as the Half Ironman.
A formidable challenge in its own right, consisting of:
- 1.9 km of swimming,
- 90 km of cycling,
- and 21.1 km of running.
An immense challenge that also requires considerable physical and mental preparation. Their commitment, motivation, and team spirit command the utmost respect. We are extremely proud to see them representing the association in such a meaningful adventure.
Beyond the sporting performance, this participation is above all driven by a deeply human and supportive cause: supporting the association Ensemble pour Victoria, dedicated to Maxime’s daughter, our little warrior Victoria. Every kilometer completed will carry special meaning, and every word of encouragement will matter.
We warmly invite everyone who will be in Nice that weekend to come and support them along the course. During an Ironman, the encouragement of the crowd plays a huge role. In moments of exhaustion and doubt, a voice, an applause, or a simple word of support can make all the difference.
The entire Century 21 Lafage Transactions team will be standing behind them throughout this extraordinary adventure.
