Before reaching Villefranche Beach, at the end of les Marinières, there used to be a restaurant that had become a legend, the Carpaccio.  On its site, a new owner is about to open his Palm Restaurant.  Who is attempting to give a second life to the mythic place? What cuisine will they offer?  We have the story.
The new owner, Patrick Degioanni, intends to give a new lease of life to the exceptional place facing what is probably the most beautiful natural harbour in the world with a terrace bathed in sunshine and cruisers as a décor.
 
Perhaps his name doesn’t ring a bell to you and yet he is a renowned professional in catering. Patrick and his wife Erika are the ones who bring magic to our summers at Eze sur Mer. If you go through the tunnel under the railway, you’ll first come across a preserved small bay and then Anjuna Beach. A unique site with a Robinson Crusoe like log cabin built in exotic wood, with recycled furniture and aesthetic untidiness that breaks your habits.  Each summer the place is re-invented to make your parties or your intimate dinners for two unforgettable ultimate moments. Here, service and quality are supported by a warm welcome.  It’s not accidental that regular customers have been faithful to the place for 15 years.
From mid April to the end of September, Anjuna Beach serves 250 covers a day.  The beach can receive 80 people.  Here is the ideal place to travel far without going away.
 
Patrick had long wanted to settle in Villefranche.
He used to say: “A magical place is rare”.  After looking for it for months, the Carpaccio restaurant appeared the obvious site!  There are many common features with Anjuna beach. First, there is no next-door neighbour, which is rare in Villefranche.  The location is atypical as in Eze sur mer.  Patrick finds it a sign of destiny.  Moreover, the Carpaccio is a reference for many who enjoyed dinners there.  Memories are made of that.
 
The Palm Restaurant is to open on June the 15th.  The furniture from Bali will offer complete evasion.  The restaurant will serve up to 150 covers a day.  The cuisine will be, like Patrick, a generous one along with quality and professionalism.  Large pizzas to share, fresh sea bass…
 
Patrick has solved Villefranche dark point by creating a valet parking service.

Patrick Degioanni has no intention to abandon Anjuna Beach, a dilemma for a person who wants everything to be perfect in both his establishments.  Thus, he has gone into partnership.  Delphine will be in charge of the Palm restaurant. They know each other well and she has proven her worth at Anjuna Beach.
