The Tripodi Family’s Case
In 1984, Gisèle and Mario Tripodi started their food product business bound for the catering trade. By dint of work, reliability and rigour, the business evolved. CASE is today a jewel on the Côte d’Azur and the leader in the Alpes Maritimes, Monaco and the Var. The business has been taken over by the Tripodi’s children: Valérie, Christophe and Barbara. We have the story.
In 2008, Christopher who had been immersed in the family’s trade since he was an infant decided to take charge of it. A former brilliant student armed with his experience, he took the reins of the business. Valérie and Barbara became his assistants, which thrilled Mum and Dad. A fine family saga, an adventure filled with kindliness and values. They can count on their collaborators’ loyalty. They are the hard core of the business, its “pillars” as Christophe calls them.
CASE (Cash Alimentaire du Sud Est) is a model on the market. The best region establishments figure prominently in their clientele. What is the key to their success?
Firstly, with over thirty years of activity on the same territory, they know perfectly well what their clients’ needs and habits are. Then, the family business is managed by representatives able to adapt quickly to their clients’ demand. Also, Case is on permanent research for a wider range of products in order to win and retain their customers’ loyalty. It is important to them to supply a relevant range that may be adapted permanently.
Case is very attentive to meeting their customers’ agreement. During and after the late difficult period, they thought about how to best help the economic agents they were used to working with. That is how they came to sign the charter “Et Après?”.
This charter created with he region trade authorities and unions is composed of about 40 small local businesses that agree to support, promote and boost local economy, mutual assistance and respect of fair trade. It is a partnership building in a virtuous circle that concerns the local economic agents, their staff and in turn their clients.
Christophe, Barbara and Valérie also know how to reinvent themselves. They have opened 2 shops for private customers right in Nice town centre.
