FIREWORKS ON JULY 13 AND COMMEMORATION DAY ON JULY 14
It is July 13, the eve of an important day of commemoration for the City of Nice!
The traditional fireworks display will start this Wednesday at nightfall, around 10 pm, on the US dock.
The next day will be the day of remembrance. Seven years ago, on July 14, 2016, a terrible attack killed 86 people and injured hundreds on the Promenade des Anglais.
Since then, Nice has not forgotten and intends to be always at the side of those affected by this tragedy.
Every July 14, the City pays tribute to the victims by organizing a day of commemoration, the program of which is established with the four local associations of victims: «Promenade des Anges», «Mémorial des Anges», «Life for Nice» and «Une voie des enfants».
On the programme this year:
6pm: Republican parade - Promenade des Anglais - Esplanade Jacques Cotta
21h: Concert of the «Southern Choir» - Théâtre de Verdure - Attention reservation required.
22h34: Illumination of the 86 light beams in memory of the victims on the Promenade des Anglais
