The good plans of the summer continue!

From 13 July to 27 August, the City of Nice, in partnership with the French Swimming Federation and the Nice Natation Azur association, installed an ephemeral swimming pool in the Pheonix Park.

The objective of this operation is to ensure safety in the water and reduce the number of drownings especially during the summer.
Aimed at younger audiences, the «I’m learning to swim» scheme set up since 2011 by the city of Nice makes sense when we look at the number of drownings recorded in France in 2021 [1500 drownings, 22% of which in children under 6]*.

Many activities will also be offered throughout the summer, baby swimmers, aquagym for seniors, water garden, aqua birthday…
The 5m x 10m x 1m50 depth pool will be monitored and supervised by the Master Lifeguards.
